CL4FIRE Fire Protection Ductwrap Systems are application tested and installed under building code requirements to restrict the spread of fire from ductwork to other locations in commercial buildings and also to provide a fire-rating for protecting the ductwork air from high temperature, fire and smoke contamination.

	Ventilation Air Ducts Fire dampers are not applicable on life safety pressurization ductwork for emergency exit stairwells or hospital emergency rooms. CL4FIRE 1-layer ventilation air duct systems replace fire dampers on ventilation air ductwork that is required to operate during a fire. Tested for safety at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) to the largest single dimension of any ductwork in North America.
	Grease Ducts Grease ducts are best protected with 8 lb. density insulation proven that offers uncompromised thermal heat resistance over lesser 6 lb. density blankets. Single layer compressed joints or double layer with staggered seams CL4FIRE grease duct systems provide additional value and space savings over gypsum shaft installations. CL4FIRE systems are designed and tested to ULC standards to keep internal grease fires from getting out and external fires from getting in. Canadian made and Canadian Tested for increased safety.
